Acceptable forms of payment for Vancouver 2010 tickets

• Visa: In recognition of Visa's support of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, we are proud to accept only Visa payment cards. For more information on how to obtain a Visa card, visit your financial institution or Visa.ca.

• Cash will accepted at Main Ticket Centres and venue box offices during Games time. To learn more about the timing and phases of the Vancouver 2010 Ticketing Program, visit How to Buy Tickets.

Fees

Delivery Fee

Your Vancouver 2010 ticketing account is used for both Olympic and Paralympic ticket purchases. Tickets purchased in Phases 1 and 2 will be sent by secure Purolator courier in December 2009 or January 2010. All future purchases will have the option for pick-up at a box office or delivery via Purolator for a delivery fee of $20.

Transportation and Your Tickets

VANOC is working with its transportation partners to deliver an efficient and sustainable transportation service. As there will be no public parking at venues, walking, cycling and the use of public transportation are strongly encouraged.

Paralympic Transportation

• A fulfillment fee will apply to each ticket. This fee provides the ticket holder with access to local public transit in Metro Vancouver or in Whistler on the date of the ticketed session. Fulfillment fees, ranging from $4 to $10, are structured on a sliding scale based on ticket price (see chart above).

• A Paralympic shuttle service to Whistler venues will be available to Paralympic ticket holders from designated parking areas within the Sea to Sky corridor. More information will be available in 2009.

Real 2010 Tickets

VANOC is working to develop a fan-to-fan marketplace that will allow ticket holders to safely donate or post their tickets for sale through vancouver2010.com, should they not be able to attend an event. The fan-to-fan marketplace will provide ticket buyers with the comfort of knowing they have purchased authentic tickets through a legitimate source — as tickets bought from an unauthorized source may not be valid and may not be accepted for entry to 2010 Winter Games events.
