The Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (VANOC) will begin testing its operational readiness at international Sport Events beginning this Friday at Whistler Olympic/Paralympic Park with cross-country skiing (January 16–18), Nordic combined (January 16–17) and ski jumping (January 23–25). >>>

VANCOUVER, BC – The Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (VANOC) successfully completed its operational testing today at the Nordic combined and cross-country Sport Events at Whistler Olympic/Paralympic Park, which ran from January 16 to 18. VANOC staff tested field of play, Games-time operations and trained potential Games-time volunteers over the course of two training days and three competition days. The venue will also host the ski jumping Sport Event from January 23 to 25. >>>

The Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (VANOC) successfully completed its operational testing today at the 2009 IPC Biathlon and Cross-Country World Cup which ran from March 4 to 7. While enthusiastic fans made their way to Whistler Olympic/Paralympic Park to cheer on the world’s best Paralympic cross-country and biathlon athletes, VANOC staff tested field of play and Games-time operations, in addition to training potential Games-time volunteers. The venue will also host the upcoming IBU World Cup Biathlon from March 11 to 15. >>>
