Paralympian and Canada's Man In Motion Rick Hansen is the final torchbearer and cauldron lighter in Richmond. At age 15, Hansen sustained a spinal cord injury (SCI) in a car accident leaving him paralyzed from the waist down. After months of rehabilitation, Hansen returned to his first passion: sports. >>>

Olympian and gold medallist Daniel Igali is the final torchbearer and cauldron lighter in Surrey. Igali won a gold medal in freestyle wrestling in the 69-kilogram weight category at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. >>>
