Photo Services Centre

Photo Services plans and provides facilities and services in the Main Press Centre and in all competition and non-competition venues to assist accredited still photographers as they capture the images of sports, ceremonies and related events during the 2010 Winter Games.

Dedicated photo positions will be reserved for accredited photographers at each venue, providing an unobstructed view and allowing them to work as close as possible to the field of play.

VANOC’s photo services team is planning a new concept for the Photo Services Centre that will meet the high professional standards of the 600 photographers who work in the most demanding sport photography conditions.

To date, VANOC has confirmed the participation of several industry-leading companies to provide a variety of services, including camera loan and repair services, computer hardware and software support and data recovery.
