Olympic Week

Children had a variety of choices of activities to take part in, including variations on winter sports in the summer, activities about fair play and good sportsmanship, introductions to the mascots (and mascot-themed crafts) and colouring contests. They were able to draw their favourite sport and act out their favourite Olympic sport or moment. There was also a unit done on the history of the Olympic Games for which videos were shown. Mini Olympic Games — with games and flag-making — were held to end the week.
