Hilario Durán
Hilario Duran is a Cuban-Canadian jazz pianist with flashing hands and style to spare. The Grammy-nominated composer and bandleader learned his craft at the centre of Cuba’s vibrant music scene, playing for almost a decade with legendary trumpeter Arturo Sandoval and leading some of the island nation’s most popular orchestras. Special guests include reed player Jane Bunnett, saxophonist and pianist Phil Dwyer and master percussionist Changuito — all bandleaders and international jazz icons in their own right.
