Longtime friends and musical explorers Andy Milne (Canada) and Benoît Delbecq (France) reunite to perform Crystal Magnets, their sublime new jazz project for two acoustic pianos. Delbecq, an innovator in improvised prepared piano performance and Milne, known for his unique integration of rhythmic concepts from Cuba, jazz, funk, and hip hop, recently collaborated on Where is Pannonica? (Songlines). Together, their synchronicity has extended the scope of the piano duo within the jazz world.
