Adrian Anantawan

At age 24, Adrian Anantawan is an accomplished classical violinist who was born without a right hand. His extraordinary musicianship has been rewarded with invitations to join with the finest orchestras all over the world. The Ontario-born musician will join the Vancouver Symphony to play Henryk Wieniawski Violin Concerto No.2 and Gustav Holst’s The Planets Suite, an awe-inspiring cosmic masterpiece written during World War I describing the seven planets (not counting Earth) known at the time, in some of the most thrilling music ever written.
