Staging the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games is an enormous undertaking. To host spectacular Games, and in a manner that will make all Canadians proud, we must have a, talented, hard-working and dedicated team.
To ensure the 2010 Winter Games a success, we have committed to tapping into every available resource, including the Aboriginal community, which adds value and enhances the Games through its contribution.
Our Human Resources team is hard at work recruiting talented people to join our team. In 2007, we expect to hire about 170 people, bringing our staff to 450.
By 2010, we will have tripled in size, with 1,400 full-time employees and 3,500 temporary employees. From entry-level positions to roles in senior management, as we travel down the road to the Games, there will be opportunities across the organization – from positions in human resources and administration, to communications sport, technology and many other areas.
