Cheques or money orders will be accepted but they must be sent with a printed receipt of the corresponding submitted online ticket request or a completed ticket request form, in paper copy. Phase 1 ticket request payments by cheque or money order must be postmarked by October 29, 2008 for the request to be considered. Your cheque will be deposited upon receipt. If you are not allocated tickets equal to the full value of your payment, a refund will then be mailed to you.
Cash will not be accepted until closer to Games time. To learn more about the timing and phases of the Vancouver 2010 Ticketing Program, visit How to Buy Tickets.
Tickets will be delivered by secure Purolator courier in late 2009 and must be received and signed for by the account holder. A one-time delivery fee of $10 (for accounts of $100 or less) or $20 (for accounts greater than $100) will be added to each account.
VANOC is working with its transportation partners to deliver an efficient and sustainable transportation service. As there will be no public parking at Olympic venues, walking, cycling and the use of public transportation are strongly encouraged.
Complimentary parking will be provided for transportation pass holders at designated Olympic Metro Vancouver park-and-ride locations. Transportation passes will be available in 2009.

VANOC is working to develop a program that will allow ticket holders to safely donate or post their tickets for resale through vancouver2010.com, should they not be able to attend an event. The program will provide ticket buyers with the comfort of knowing they have purchased authentic tickets through a legitimate source — as tickets bought from an unauthorized source may not be valid and may not be accepted for entry to 2010 Winter Games events.
