Your Olympic and Paralympic experience is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Be sure to make the most of it and consider these three helpful tips as you plan your 2010 Winter Games experience:
Mix and Match
Witnessing the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games gives you a rare chance to see top-calibre competition from around the world in a wide variety of sports. Take this opportunity to truly experience the Games by mixing the sports you love with sports and venues that may be new to you.
Give Yourself Time
We recommend planning to attend a maximum of one event per day. We strongly suggest you arrive early at the venue early to allow plenty of time for the security screening process and to find your seat. Opening and Closing Ceremonies and Whistler venues will open three hours before the event during the Olympic Games. Whistler venues will open two hours before the start of Paralympic Games events. City venues will open two hours before the event for both the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Event postponements or delays occasionally happen. Building your schedule by giving yourself ample flex time will ensure that such occurrences don’t hamper your experience.
