When the world comes to the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, they come to the traditional and shared traditional territories of four distinct indigenous peoples — the Lil’wat, Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh First Nations. Together, we are known as the Four Host First Nations.
We are proud of the role we have played in bringing the Games to our territories and of our role as Official Partners in the Games — a first for indigenous peoples in Olympic and Paralympic history.
As Official Partners in the Games, we invite you to join us in our territories as we welcome the world to the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. We look forward to celebrating and sharing our cultures with you!

Four Host First Nations Medallion
This emblem reflects the unique cultures and spirit of the Four Host First Nations — respecting each other, working cooperatively together, united within the sacred circle of life.
The outer rim represents the creator and ancestors watching over a human face, symbolizing each of the Four Host First Nations. In the centre, four feathers point north, south, east and west — extending our invitation to the peoples of the world.
