The Vancouver2010.com Podcast is your window into the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. Meet the athletes, get into the culture and step behind the scenes of planning the Games. Catch new podcasts every few weeks here at vancouver2010.com.

What’s a podcast?
A podcast is an audio or video file, available from a website, that’s downloadable. The file can be downloaded from the website to your computer and then transferred to your mp3 player device so you can listen or watch the podcast anytime. You can also watch or listen on demand, anytime, at vancouver2010.com.

What’s the difference between audio and video podcasts?
Audio podcasts are mp3 files you can download or listen to on demand. Video podcasts, sometimes called vodcasts, are small video files available for download. Vodcasts can also be viewed on demand.

Are podcasts free?
All Vancouver 2010 podcasts are free to download, view and/or subscribe to.

How do I listen to or view a podcast?
Vancouver2010 podcasts can be viewed or heard in multiple ways:

  • Watch or listen on demand here
  • Download the audio or video file from our website to your computer
  • On a PC, right click on the link and select “save target as” or “save link as.” On a Mac, simply hold down the control (ctrl) key and click on the link. Select “download link to disk” or “download linked file.”
  • Select a location on your computer (somewhere you can easily find it again, such as “My Music” or “Desktop.”
  • The file will be saved to your computer.

How can I subscribe to receive the latest Vancouver2010 podcasts?
If you want to automatically download Vancouver2010 podcasts as they become available, subscribe to this series through our RSS feed.
