Connecting Teachers

The Teachers' forum is an online community inspiring teachers to share ideas, best practices and classroom resources related to Vancouver 2010, the Olympic and Paralympic Movements and the Games’ three pillars of sport, culture and sustainability. Teachers have the opportunity to interact with guest educators, as well as each other, enabling the community to reflect the ideas of participating teachers.

University of British Columbia’s (UBC) Faculty of Education will facilitate the teachers’ forum, providing useful topics for discussion as well as suggesting new and relevant education resources in the areas of sport, culture and sustainability to bring into the classroom.

UBC is currently initiating a test phase of the teachers’ forum. Teachers across Canada will be able to participate in the online forum once it’s formally launched in the first quarter of 2008.
