Energy Consumption and GHG Emissions Table

*Correction: The gasoline and diesel volumes for construction were inadvertently inverted in the 2005-06 report. They have been corrected in this table.

**GHG emissions were calculated based on the GHG Protocol of the World Resources Institute with carbon intensity factors of electrical energy provided by BC Hydro.

***The GHG intensity factors for BC Hydro’s electrical supply were refi ned recently to refl ect additional electrical supply from independent power producers; this resulted in a higher GHG intensity factor for the 2006-07 reporting year. Although the electrical energy consumption is similar to 2005-06, the resulting GHGs are three times higher.
