What is training and is it mandatory?

There are several different areas of training for volunteers, which are mandatory. You must attend the training sessions you’ve been scheduled for. Training is a key ingredient to your Games experience as it ensures you have the skills to carry out your role, and the motivation and enthusiasm to succeed. If you miss a training session, you could jeopardize your volunteer position. Please make sure you attend every session.
