Sport Event Volunteers

If your passion for the Games can't wait until 2010, check out the many Sport Events volunteer opportunities.

Sport Events are a fantastic way to build your volunteer portfolio and gain experience working at the same venues where the Games will be held in 2010. Sport Event volunteers will fill a variety of roles both on and off the field of play. This experience could be a valuable asset when applying for a Games-time role.

What is a Sport Event?

Sport Events are major national or international events, such as World Cups or World Championships that will take place in the Vancouver and Whistler area in 2008 and early 2009. VANOC will be testing operations at these events. Each sport discipline will be tested at least once leading up to the 2010 Winter Games, so there are many chances for you to get involved.

Volunteer for a Sport Event now!

If you're interested in volunteering for a Sport Event, let us know by choosing yes on your Games-time volunteer application form. It's as easy as that. We'll then consider your experience, skills and availability, among other things, when choosing volunteers for Sport Events. Click here to apply now.
