At VANOC, we have a vision, mission, and a set of values to which we are 100% committed. As a potential member of our team, you would need to fully ascribe to these values as well.

Mission
To touch the soul of the nation and inspire the world by creating and delivering an extraordinary Olympic and Paralympic experience and lasting legacies.

Values
Team – We recognize that success and excellence can only be achieved and sustained by a deep commitment to working as a team and the practice of focusing on collective rather than individual effort and rewards

Trust – We act consciously to inspire the trust of everyone whose lives we touch by modeling the highest standards of honesty, integrity and ethical behavior at all times.

Excellence – We model individual and collective performance by working as a team with our partners to promote social cultural, health and sport excellence. Improve the sport performance of Team Canada and deliver on our vision

Sustainability – We proactively consider the long-term interests of all stakeholders in the Games, both here in Canada and throughout the World, to ensure that our impact is positive and our legacy sustainable for all

Creativity – We embrace new ideas, encourage input to foster breakthrough thinking and solutions that will allow us to amaze even ourselves in our ability to exceed expectations and deliver on our vision
