Here’s what you need to know:
Event Time:
3:00 PM. Site opens for guests at 2:00 PM. Estimated show time is four hours.
Cost:
The event is free. Attendance is moderately limited by space considerations on the site.
Location:
Whistler Golf Course Driving Range, 4055 Whistler Way.
Getting there:
Where possible, please consider using sustainable forms of transportation such as bus, bike, carpool or walking.
Parking:
Free parking is available at the Day Skier Parking Lots, located in Whistler Village along Blackcomb Way. (From Highway 99, turn right onto Village Gate Boulevard. Turn left at Blackcomb Way. Turn right into Day Skier Parking lots.)

There is limited pay parking available near the event site, at the Coast Whistler Resort (4005 Whistler Way) and the Westin Resort & Spa Whistler (4090 Whistler Way).

Wheelchair / over height parking is available in Municipal Lot A, located beside the Whistler Conference Centre, adjacent to the Royal Bank in the Whistler Village . Vehicles using this parking will need to display their wheelchair parking decal.

A site-accessible drop off point for persons with a disability is available on Whistler Way beside the Golf Course driving range. Please note – this is for drop-off only. No parking is available on-site.

ASL interpreters will be provided for the event. FM systems will also be available and can be checked out at the Medical Services tent that will be found on site.

Tactile logos (Paralympic and Olympic) will be available for viewing at the pin distribution tables for guests who are visually impaired.
General Seating:
The event is free and seating is by general admission. We recommend you bring a blanket for sitting on the greens of the Whistler Driving Range. No lawn chairs please.
Wheelchair access and seating:
The event site is accessible by wheelchair and a wheelchair seating area is available on the greens. There is ample room for attendees who utilize a wheelchair and their guests. Please be advised that guests should bring a blanket for seating.
Security:
Professional security will be on-site to ensure everyone’s safe enjoyment of the event. Please be aware that all guests are subject to bag checks and standard event security procedures.
Refreshments:
There are no vendors directly on the event site, so guests are encouraged to bring their own refreshments. Whistler Village has many food service outlets where food can be purchased before entering the site. Please note, alcohol is not permitted on the site.
Recycling and Waste:
Recycling and waster containers will be available on site. We encourage you to recycle whatever consumables you bring and thank you for your assistance in keeping the site clean.
Kids Zone:
The site will feature a “Kids Zone” creative play area for the 12 and under set. Please ensure that an adult accompanies your child to the Kids Zone. Change-station equipped porta-potties are also available on site.
