Vancouver 2010 Graphic Elements

The colours of the Sea-to-Sky palette were chosen to represent the richness and diversity of the natural landscape of Canada’s West Coast. The selection of photos above show the inspiration for Vancouver 2010’s colour palette.

Stylized figures of people, animals and nature are inspired by ancient paintings and etchings found across the country, left by the ancestors of Aboriginal peoples in Canada. These drawings depict the deep connection between man and nature that dates back thousands of years.
