The Relay Route

The 2010 Olympic Torch Relay will begin in October 2009 with the official lighting ceremony in Olympia, Greece, followed by a handover ceremony in Athens. The Olympic Flame will then make its way across Canada, taking approximately 100 days to cover 35,000 kilometres.

The relay route will be announced in the fall of 2008. We are planning a route that allows as many Canadians as possible to share in the experience. We invite you to check back on a regular basis for general updates and information.
