Ceremonies
Ceremonies are large-scale community celebrations that capture
the spirit and unique personality of the host city, province and
country, provide inspiring messages regarding the Olympic Movement
and celebrate the world’s greatest athletes.
The first official Vancouver 2010 ceremony presentation took
place during the
Closing of
the 2006 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games in Torino, Italy,
when we received the Olympic and Paralympic Flags as the next city
to host the Winter Games. In 2010 subsequent ceremonies will:
